Belux and Spanish vACCs are feeling proud to present you: Brussels-Madrid Cityhopping.
In this time, we work together to bring you full ATC service in Madrid Barajas (LEMD) and Brussels National Airport (EBBR). The main idea consists in recreating the rotation of the EU’s Presidency of the Council to Belgium in summer of this year.
Enroute control will be available during the entire event. Our controllers will be online for at least 4 hours! You can join this Fly-In starting from Madrid or Brussels, it doesn’t matter where you are coming from or going to, you will find the best ATC service in the area, a lot of pilots around you and tons of fun!
Please, take a time to read the briefing documents for each airport, prepare all the charts and scenery. Doing this, you will ensure the success of your flight!

Very first Brussels Real Ops – Friday 9th of April – 1600Z-2000Z
An historical event will be taking place on VATSIM: Belux vACC is proud to present it’s very first Brussels Real Ops.

160 real life flights are available for booking on our Real Ops website. When all are booked this means 2 flights every 3 minutes going from or to Brussels Int. airport (EBBR). An unique experience in Belgium!
Brussels is known as the capital of Europe and serves as main hub for all European Union delegates. It mainly offers flights to Europe and Africa but also offers flights to North America and Asia.

We will be holding continued ATC coverage for Brussels (EBBR) and Brussels FIR (EBBU) from 1600UTC to 2000UTC on Friday 9th of April 2010, as well as coordinating with adjacent FIRs and airports to ensure you a flight you will never forget.
